Best Poster Award
The Best Poster Award consists of a certificate and a monetary prize. The top 10 winners will each receive a $500 award.
Terms of Participation
To participate in the Best Poster Award (BPA) competition, authors must indicate their intention to compete when submitting their abstract for a poster presentation.
All participating posters will be evaluated by an international panel of scientific experts, chaired by a designated committee head.
Evaluation Criteria
Posters will be assessed based on the following criteria:
- Novelty, originality, and creativity of the work
- Scope of the work, quality of the experimental design, and practical execution
- Quality of poster presentation, including the author’s presence and explanation during the designated session
- Scientific and/or practical impact of the work
- Quality of the Poster Presentation Pitch
Procedure
During the first round of evaluation, reviewers will nominate up to three posters from each poster session to advance to the Poster Presentation Pitch. This initial evaluation will take place during the designated poster sessions from Monday to Wednesday. Individual posters will be available only during selected poster sessions.
Selected finalists will proceed to the Poster Pitch Presentation, scheduled for Thursday (11:00–12:30). Each finalist will deliver a 3-minute oral presentation of their work, supported by a maximum of five PowerPoint slides.
Following the presentations, the Best Poster Award committee will select 10 winners, each of whom will receive a monetary prize. All remaining finalists will be awarded an Honorable Mention in recognition of their participation in the final round.
Honorary Session
Award recipients will be announced and invited to the podium during the honorary closing session on the final day of the symposium. Awardees who are absent without prior notice will forfeit their award.
All finalists who do not receive a monetary award will be granted an Honorable Mention certificate in recognition of their achievement in reaching the second evaluation round.
